  • HAVE YOU EVER?

Have you ever asked yourself what you were designed and destined to be?  I got into a conversation last night about someone who seems never to have asked himself that question, and as a result he is actively pursuing a career for which he seems extremely ill-suited.

It seems to me that these questions are an important way to avoid wasting alot of time, effort, and money.  And if you start asking them, then you are likely to ask wise people who know you what they think as well.

    There.  That's your intellectual breakfast.

I think its a question I continously ask myself. I look at the skills I have, or I should say talents, things that come to me naturally. I'm actually a very creative person so think God intends I use my artistic skills for him. In church I can be involved in the multimedia area.

I won a trip to a 2 week art course in 2004 in Canberra, Australian Capital Territory - all paid with hotel, meals, resturants, artist talks, art activities (including screenprinting, making a glass mold, life-drawing, painting, environmental art etc). Before I went on this trip I was thinking of not using my artistic abilities cos I didn't realise you could actually do something with them. I decided to go to University to study Visual Arts, as this is where my strengths lie and felt this was where God was calling me.

What about you? What were you designed and created for?
